What you read here

The Journal is my own writing, shared in good faith. It reflects my views and experience at the time it was written, and it is not professional advice for your situation. Technology moves quickly: older posts carry a note to say so, and code examples may need changes before they work for you. Use anything here at your own risk.

Using the content

Unless it says otherwise, the words, design and images on this site belong to me. You're welcome to quote short extracts with a link back, and to use code snippets from the Journal in your own work. Please don't republish whole posts or present them as your own.

Links to other sites

Links to other sites are there because I think they're useful. I'm not responsible for what's on them, or for how they handle your data.

Availability

I aim to keep the site running and accurate, but I can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and I may change or remove anything on it.

Liability

As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss from using this site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute.
